About the Programs

The Foundation Year is an enabling course that is intended to develop the independence, motivation and academic skills required for undergraduate study. A unique aspect of the course is the course structure itself. The first part of the course is to review and update reading, research and academic writing skills. In the second part of the course, the students experience the fulltime study load of an undergraduate student and are fully integrated with students currently studying in their undergraduate degrees.

The Tertiary Enabling Program (TEP) is an enabling course presented in an intensive mode for one semester. The course is suitable for students who are highly skilled in time management. Students are introduced to the academic areas of: reading; research and academic writing. The course structure includes revision in the areas of stage two mathematics( for all students) and human biology (for prospective nursing students).
