Letters of Commendation (LOC)

The University wishes to encourage and recognise excellence in teaching. A Letter of Commendation (LOC) from the Vice Chancellor is sent to each academic who has attained high evaluation results in accordance with the required eligibility standards. Each semester Notre Dame’s students are asked to evaluate the quality of teaching they have experienced, using the University’s Teaching Performance Evaluation (TPE) instrument. This feedback from students is highly valued and is used as one means of identifying and commending academic staff members who have demonstrated teaching excellence with consistency, within a particular evaluation cycle.

Letters of Commendations is currently in the process of being updated. Results will be published in the near future.
